Weekly Menu and goals-April 22-28


This past week was a complete fail in the Whole 30 department. Not because I ate a bunch of crap, but because I just didn’t eat. My weight dropped about 4 lbs and that’s not healthy. I tried to eat better, but my heart and nerves were in control of my eating cues. And I just didn’t feel like eating. So….here we go again. Whole30.

Sunday: Asian meatballs with spaghetti squash

Monday: Pork Carnitas for burrito bowls. Includes fried cauliflower rice.

Tuesday: Steak with Avocado salsa and roasted Brussels with bacon

Wednesday: Grilled chicken with Green Tomatillo salsa

Thursday: Salmon with lemon garlic green beans

Friday: On the road. I’m getting out of town for the anniversary of Tuscaloosa tornadoes.

I’m taking an easy week off from running, but increasing CrossFit. My increase in miles is good, but I’m missing the balance of strength and mental fitness that CrossFit provides. I need to get back in the gym and join people again.

Monday: PM CrossFit and 2.62 Run for Boston

Tuesday: AM CrossFit

Wednesday: AM CrossFit, 3 miles

Thursday: PM CrossFit

Friday: AM CrossFit before my road trip.


I need to just put Hydration down as a permanent given. I never drink enough and I know I should.

Focus on the helpers. Focus on the good.

Take care of myself. This is going to be a difficult week. I know it so I need to prepare for it.
