Taming the Tuesday

I know it’s going to be a rough day when I look for the Hump Day camel picture on my Facebook feed. Then I realized that well, it wasn’t Hump Day. It was the dreaded Tuesday. I didn’t sleep that well last night, but I woke up feeling better than I expected. The shots I got from the doctor were still working. I know that won’t last, but any relief in sinus junk and the surprise strep throat is better than the alternative.

I cooked tonight. Stop the press. I didn’t throw crap together. I actually used a cutting board, knife, and pepper shaker. It was AMAZING. Roasted green beans and chipotle maple salmon. I wanted good food and kick-the-sickness food. I found it with the real maple, lemon, green stuff, and salmon. Here’s hoping for a health miracle.

I do believe that winter is coming. The kids at school are bonkers, the teachers are ready for a break, and someone mentioned Christmas is coming soon. Since I have decorated the entire house, I’m enjoying it early. I need something to take away my focus on my face of pain and congestion. Holly Jolly!

Also in the “wow, I have more in my life than school” category, I logged into my photography website to find out they have redesigned the whole thing and I needed to migrate my stuff. I had some fun updating it and looking back at past years of life and family. I think in my next life, I want to be a sports photographer. I really enjoyed taking these last year.
