Beginner Sprint workout

My running routine has been a lot more consistent in the past few weeks and that is certainly a great thing. The first half of my year was a struggle with consistency, illness, and distractions and I’m so excited to finally have a better routine lately.

One of my favorite workouts is a sprint workout. I usually do this on a treadmill so I have the digital distance/pace/time display right in front of me. This sprint workout is TOUGH but so rewarding to finish. It is also a great workout to measure running progress.

We all know treadmills can be a little boring and I always make sure I have my phone and music with me. I have several music playlists that I depend upon to make my workouts more enjoyable. However, keeping my phone on the treadmill can be dangerous. That is why Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 4 is great for devices that are used in workouts. Gorilla 4 dramatically improves protection against drops that can damage devices.

With Gorilla Glass, my phone is better able to withstand potential damage. Because I must have my music playlist, protection from drop damage is crucial. In laboratory tests, Gorilla Glass 4 survived up to 80% of the time when dropped from 3 feet high, and was up to 2x tougher than competitive glass designs. With this version, the focus is on improving damage resistance against sharp contact, such as a drop on asphalt, concrete, and other rough surface. For this workout, my phone would definitely need Gorilla Glass to withstand a drop and tumble off the treadmill.
