Fall Breaking+Harvest Moon

If it’s early October or November, we are usually headed to the beach. This year, we went back to one of our favorite places around Apalachicola, Florida. This year, we happened to arrive at our condo just in time for the rising of the Harvest Moon for 2017. I’m glad the clouds cooperated enough for me to get a clear picture on this beautiful night.

After we got a sunset picture, we walked to the Blue Parrot beach-side restaurant. On St. George Island, you live as the locals and there were plenty of locals and tourists to fill up the place. I ordered the Jalapeno Poppers, assuming from the description these were like bacon-wrapped peppers stuffed with cheese. I was so wrong. They were deep fried. That WASN’T on the description. Stephen ate them and I ate his fries. I was too glad to be away from the RV and sitting by the beach to be concerned. We had already stopped at a grocery store for staples so I knew I wouldn’t starve.

We were aware that a potential Hurricane Nate was headed towards the Gulf, but were were not concerned, yet. The plans for weekend include nothing but  beach swimming and resting up. This house building adventure is almost over and that just means the most extreme stressful time is in the next 4 weeks. Until then, I’ll be on some beach. Somewhere.
