CrossFit Open 15.1 DONE!

It was a very busy morning at CrossFit Candor. Many of us got our first workout of the Open finished and there were a lot of happy people by lunch time.

Here is the scaled version that I did.

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
15 hanging knee raises
10 deadlifts (85 / 55 lb.)
5 snatches* (85 / 55 lb.)
*ground-to-overhead allowed

Then, for the next 6 minutes

1-rep-max clean and jerk
6-minute time cap

That’s me on the left, proudly sporting my Big Bang Theory shirt. Nothing says badass like dead lifting while wearing a shirt reading “soft kitty, warm kitty, purr purr purr”.

Results: 138 reps and 75# 1-rep max on clean-and-jerk. That happens to be a PR in the clean. I was thrilled!
