Whole 30 Day 9: Getting better

I had some very weird dreams. I woke up this morning after dreaming the CrossFit gym would be closed because Nick Saban wanted to bring the football team in  for a workout. It was so real, when my alarm went off, I set it for another hour and went back to sleep.

I wasn’t very hungry so I just ate a banana. I knew today would be a very hectic day returning to school after the snow event last week. Surprisingly, the kids came back half asleep but that lasted until lunch and then I was herding kittens again. I having a lot of energy today and while I didn’t jump out of bed and hang drywall, I DO feel more awake and do not have that begging for a nap feeling.

This afternoon, I did an at-home CrossFit workout called Deck of Death after running 3 miles that felt effortless.  I would say Day 9 was fantastic.

Breakfast: banana

Lunch: Leftover green beans and some turkey

Dinner: Chipotle Chicken soup
